New lens for my old Nikon D50
Just picked up a new lens for the old D50.
SIGMA OS 18-200MM DC NIKON AF OPT. STAB. great all around lens.
So I called LA yesterday and told her "I've been a bad boy" (evil laugh)
She's so cool with it, I just can't tell her that I wan to take as many picks of pairs as possible.

My best friend for life !
Just payed for the tickets to Paris, had to do cash. LA would know due to on-line banking. The plan's to get to Montreal, and pop the word. As far as she knows we're off to Montreal for the weekend...
The ticket agent asked me "what kind of woman is she to deserve a gift like this?"
Not thinking I said " She brings the best out in me, a loving mom, great wife and my best friend for life!"

Paris..
Our 14th Anniversary's fast approaching and I had to go the the travel agent and get a flight out to...no idea where before i stepped in.
"How's Paris France sound?" she said. Looks like Paris it is. My credit card company just LOVES me. Dinner at the tower, gotta do it. I always remember the words mom lived by, ' this life is not a dress rehearsal'.
So here's another life links ( I'll talk about this in another posting if i have time)just a few day i was watching french tunes (no reason, just happened) and now i find myself going to Paris for the first time.
You ever have that feeling you're being watched by Google Earth and everyone knows what you're up to, like the ticket agent who mentioned Paris...

HOT & SWEET
Tabasco sauce and vanilla ice cream.OK, I heard about this last week, so last night I gave it a go...OOOH MMMY GODDDD, This is a killer combo.
I took 5 big spoons of Vanilla ice cream and 1 big table spoon of Tabasco and hand mixed it all.
Also add 2 table spoons of milk to soften the ice cream and really get that HOT into the COLD!!

Cold Play's "See you soon" comes on the radio..just what I needed, been on the road for a few days not seeing the kids.
I wonder about people who experience great adversity and keep going. Where do they gather that strength ? I now come to the realisation that it all that surrounds them, the family, friends, faith, music, etc... so are we the best (if we choose) of what surrounds us?

E (my son, age 3) just started whaling for no reason (probaly a bad dream), got up an held him tight. (I'm going to miss these moments ) after about 5 min he looks up and said "I pee pee in my diaper" me "...OK, that's OK, let's change it" he whispers"..love you Dada"
